Since 1998, le Panier Belge
started selling gift items and specialty chocolate products
to local Montreal businesses and malls.
A dedicated team,
travels to the old continent (Europe), once or twice yearly,
in quest of the best quality special occasion gift items
and visits our Belgian and French producers in search of
new pralines, chocolates ideas and dragées (Jordan
Almonds).
The business grown to include wedding, new
baby , baptism, communion and all happy occasion favors.
Due to this increasing demand our present location on L’Acadie
boulvard, in Montreal, opened for business in 2001, offering
products to both retail and wholesale clients.

Idea was to offer its customers a unique item, with best
quality ingredients and unparalleled quality/price ratio.Our
best advertisers were our clients, who always referred us
their friends and relatives for any upcoming event. That
offered us the opportunity to offer our products to clients
all over North America and to export even finished products
back to Europe and the Middle East without having even a
website.
In 2004 a new baby was born: a new facility
in Montreal to produce fine colored aluminium foiled chocolotes.
Our present line of products include exquisite handmade pralines
imported from Belgium, the biggest variety in North America
for French Dragées (Jordan Almonds),
corporate gifts and baskets, favors, Canadian produced Belgian
chocolates,gifts, accessories for chocolate retailers, wedding
accessories and more.
